Please browse our frequently asked questions below. If you have a specific query not answered here, please contact your local club directly and the Riverside team will be happy to help you. You can find the contact details for each club on their designated pages within this website.

To become a member at Riverside Sports and Leisure, you’ll need to join via our website. The process takes around 10 minutes and can be done at home or at the Club.

If you’ve been a member before at Riverside, then your email may need to be removed for you to re-join. Please call the club and one of our reception team will be able to help.

There are is no contract, a monthly direct debit is taken on the day you join each month. You can cancel at any time (please ensure 8-10 working days before the next direct debit is due out).

What’s you’ve joined you should receive a confirmation email that you are now a member at Riverside Sports and Leisure. On your first visit, pop to reception and one of our team will setup a card/ fingerprint for you.

We do not provide joint or multiple memberships at this time. However, you can still ask in branch if there is a special circumstance and see what can be provided.

You may bring a guest to use the facilities. Guests must be with a member and passes can be purchased from reception for £8

For Cardiff, guest passes can be purchased online

Classes are included for members. Non-members can attend classes for £6 but cannot pre-book a spot.

Please contact reception at your local Riverside Club for details. For example, at Riverside Gloucester swimming lessons for children run on Saturday mornings. *No pool at Cardiff

Our membership is all inclusive, this means for a set price you can swim, use the gym, attend classes and play racket sports (where facilities are available)

All memberships are to be paid by direct debit only. Any specific options will be provided during the registration process.

Please log into the app with your email address and login number and you will then be able to book classes up to 7 days in advance from 9pm. 

It could be that your email has been entered incorrectly. Please pop by the club with your email address, or a new one and we will get the accounts team to change the email and then resolve it from there with you.

Simply stop your direct debit around 10 working days before the next direct debit is due out. If you have any issues, please contact ashbourne here: and they will be able to assit

Riverside Cardiff Leisure Club provide a free personal training consultation with every new membership. Otherwise, our personal trainers are on service throughout the week for general enquiries. Also, do not be afraid to ask about their own packages and services. All personal trainers are fully qualified and highly experienced.

Riverside Leisure Club accept no responsibility for any loss or damage to personal property. If a personal effect or belonging is found and handed in, we will always endeavour to return any articles of lost property to the owner, however we do not take responsibility for any item held in lost property. If the item is held in lost property for over one month, then the item may be removed or destroyed.
