Class Of The Week – Dance Fit

Dance Fit, was originally created by Colombian dancer Alberto Beto in the 1990s. It has been stated that the class includes fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body [1]. It has been indicated that 14 million people in 150 countries are take partaking in Dance Fit [2]. Make sure to book onto one of our classes at Riverside!

The positive impacts of Dancefit include:

  • To begin with, the obvious one, it burns calories. This is because the class included both aerobic movements and resistance training and therefore making an effective workout. It has been indicated that you can burn up to 600 calories in one class.[3]
  • Moreover, with this helps with increasing endurance as it is an ongoing continuous class and therefore allows your body to adjust to increase endurance. [4]
